Who is Ana?
My name is Ana and I am 43 years old. I have a degree in economics, but for the past 15 years I have been educating myself in the field of my passion – skin care. I struggle with combination, sometimes dry, dehydrated, and sensitive facial skin.
Just to keep things interesting, every now and then I experience flare-ups and redness. I don’t use fillers, nor do I plan to (never say never), but with the help of the most natural skincare products possible, along with diet and exercise, I actively work on delaying or reducing the signs of aging – while at the same time embracing my age and the years to come.
My belief is that improving overall health – and skin health – must come from both inside and out.
Like most people, my life is full of stress. I have very little time for myself, due to work and the obligations of raising three school-age kids and athletes (9, 10, 11), but I try to make the most of it. I’m an advocate for a healthy lifestyle, though due to lack of time, I often give in (it’s hard to say no to delicious things at the bakery).
I believe that, although they may carry a few fine lines, the years bring inner beauty, maturity, experience, and a confidence that shines through… So why shouldn’t that beauty be visible? That’s exactly why I named the brand BEAUTY WITH AGE – because a woman becomes more beautiful with age, by embracing herself and everything she truly is. Like wine…
My passion and love lie in creating product formulations, some of which you can find on this site, while others are still in development. I was guided by the thought that the skin is our largest organ and that it can absorb potentially harmful substances.
Unfortunately, many creams on the market contain mineral oils and hormone disruptors.
That was the reason I entered this world. I wanted to be sure that the product I apply to my skin is as natural as possible, without any potentially negative effects on my health, and effective in fulfilling its purpose (anti-aging).
