The DC (double cleansing) method is a two-step facial cleansing technique that prevents the loss of natural oils and skin dryness (as cleansing removes not only impurities but also the skin\u2019s natural lipids).<\/p>\n

Inadequate cleansing can lead to dryness, dehydration, and skin irritation, and sometimes even worsen skin conditions (acne, clogged pores).<\/p>\n

The DC method includes 2 steps:<\/h4>\n
    \n
  1. Lipid-based cleansing (oil or balm)<\/li>\n
  2. Water-based cleansing (foam or gel)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The oil cleanser is applied to dry (made-up) skin and gently massaged in using the fingertips (without cotton pads). Gradually, a little water is added to turn the oil into a milky texture. This emulsion (milk) will remove all makeup and impurities from the skin.<\/p>\n

    Next, a foam or gel is applied as the second step. It will gently remove any remaining residue.<\/p>\n
