Facial skincare steps

Facial skincare steps
  1. Cleansing
Facial cleansing is necessary to remove makeup, traces of pollution from the air, touching the face with hands, etc. Cleansing products include: oil, gel or foam cleanser, micellar water, or cleansing milk.
  2. Toning
Toner is applied to balance the skin’s pH after cleansing.

  3. Applying serum
A hydrating serum (watery or milky texture) is applied after toner. It penetrates deeply into the skin with active ingredients.

  4. Applying cream
Cream is applied after serum. Choose your cream based on the current needs of your skin (light for oily, richer texture for dry skin). Cream nourishes the skin and smooths wrinkles.

  5. Locking in moisture
Finally, it is recommended to apply an oil-based serum to “lock in” the facial care and provide the skin with necessary lipids (fats). This step is especially beneficial in winter months when the skin becomes dry due to cold weather, wind, and heating.
*Every skin is different and the skincare steps should be adapted to the condition of your skin.
**During summer, use lighter products, while in winter heavier, richer care is needed.

  6. Extra care step
Using acids and vitamin C. Acids are recommended throughout the year, with SPF protection. Acids perform a chemical peel, remove dead skin cells, and enable targeted, deep facial care. Vitamin C stimulates collagen synthesis, evens out the complexion, and removes dullness from the face (an instant “wow” effect).
